Although rain is often associated with sadness and storms, it’s only with rain that crop can grow, and flowers can flourish. Back when we had a dry spell in Singapore, it was only after the rain did the trees bloom with flowers we’d never seen before.
Deuteronomy 28:12 says “The Lord will open the heavens, the storehouse of his bounty, to send rain on your land in season and to bless all the work of your hands. You will lend to many nations but will borrow from none.”
